As Jesus approaches Jericho, a blind man cries out to Him for mercy, despite the crowd’s attempts to silence him. Instead of passing by, Jesus stops, listens, and asks, “What do you want me to do for you?” The man boldly asks for his sight to be restored, and Jesus heals him immediately, commending his faith.
By your endurance you will gain your lives. – Luke 21:5-19
Jesus warns His disciples that trials, persecution, and confusion will come, yet He calls them to endure in faith. He teaches that earthly security, whether buildings, power, or status, cannot save us.
