Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son. – Luke 1:26-38
Behold the Lord’s Promise: The angel Gabriel visits Mary and announces, “You will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and His name will be Jesus.” Though troubled, Mary listens, trusts, and humbly accepts God’s plan.
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. – Matthew 3:1-12
John the Baptist appears in the wilderness with a clear message, Repent and Prepare, because the Kingdom of Heaven is near. He urges the people to turn from sin, change their hearts, and bear good fruit.
Seeing the crowds, he had compassion for them. – Matthew 9:35-10:1. 5a, 6-8
Jesus looks at the crowds with deep compassion, seeing their tiredness and loss. They are like sheep without a shepherd, hungry for healing and hope. Moved by this compassion, He teaches, heals, and proclaims the Kingdom of God.
