They saw him walk on the sea. – Mark 6:45-52
After feeding the five thousand, Jesus sends His disciples across the Sea of Galilee while He withdraws to the mountain to pray. As night falls, a fierce wind rises and the disciples struggle against the waves. In the early hours, Jesus comes to them, walking on the water.
When Jesus multiplied the loaves, he revealed himself as a prophet. – Mark 6:34-44
Jesus looks upon the great crowd with compassion, seeing them as sheep without a shepherd, and begins to teach them with love and patience. As evening falls, the disciples worry about feeding the people, but Jesus says, “You give them something to eat.”
The kingdom of heaven is at hand. – Matthew 4:12-17, 23-25
After John the Baptist’s arrest, Jesus begins His public ministry in Galilee, proclaiming with authority, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” He travels through towns and villages, teaching in synagogues, sharing the Good News, and healing every illness and affliction.
