Whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother. – Mark 3:31-35
Jesus sat among His followers when His mother and brothers arrived, wanting to speak with Him. In that moment, He lovingly explained that whoever does the will of God belongs to His true family.
Satan is coming to an end. – Mark 3:22-30
When the scribes accuse Jesus of using Satan’s power to cast out demons, He exposes their flawed thinking with clarity and authority. A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, He explains, proving that His works come from God, not darkness.
Jesus went to Capernaum so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled. – Matthew 4:12-23
After John’s arrest, Jesus moves to Capernaum, fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy that a great light has risen on those in darkness. From there, He begins preaching, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near,” inviting hearts to turn towards God.
