Explanation
Jesus teaches His disciples that forgiveness has no limits. Even if someone sins against us seven times in a single day but sincerely repents, we must forgive them each time. Reflection
Forgiveness is never easy, especially when the hurt runs deep or repeats itself. Yet Jesus calls us to forgive without limit, trusting that His grace makes what seems impossible, possible. To forgive with faith is to love as Jesus loves, to let go of resentment and allow His healing power to work within us. Each act of mercy frees both the giver and the receiver, opening our hearts to peace, love, and the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit. We forgive not because others always deserve it, but because Christ continually forgives us. When we choose to forgive again and again, we imitate His boundless mercy and find true freedom in His grace.
