Christ Restores Life and Hope
Christ restores life when faith overcomes fear and doubt. In today’s Gospel, Jesus crosses the sea to help Jairus, whose daughter is dying. Along the way, He heals a woman suffering for twelve years simply because she believes. Then, at Jairus’s house, Jesus tells the mourners not to fear and takes the girl’s hand.
